About Melinda Dunn
As an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant with over a decade of experience, not only do I have the necessary qualifications as required under the Marriage Act, 1961, it is also compulsory for me to participate in on-going professional development courses, as outlined by the Attorney General's Department.
This ensures a high standard of professionalism is maintained, with a Code of Practice for all celebrants to undertake, as well as receiving up to date information on all legal requirements for your wedding.
My training and qualifications have attained me the following in the arena of marriage and funerals.

Previously my background revolved around marketing, real estate sales and advertising. Similarly as a Marriage Celebrant, my ability to communicate and understand the needs of many different clients is paramount and has made me aware of the essential elements required for major events in people’s lives.
These elements of understanding form part of my services in creating an atmosphere that truly reflects the thoughts and feelings of couples and families to make sure that the service is just right. I really look forward to meeting with you so we can pave the way for the next steps towards your day of celebration.

We both wanted to say a very big thank you for help making our day so special. We had a wonderful time (despite the dress drama!) and have received many positive comments on how well done the ceremony was.
